For those of you who check this site for Eli pictures, I hope you enjoy the pictures below. Sorry it's been a while sinces I've blogged. It seems very weird to me to have this one side conversation or expression of my thoughts without hearing responses. Something to get used to on the world wide web I guess.
Anyhow, it's been a long few months since our last post it seems. Eli is now approaching 17 months old. He hasn't gotten a whole lot bigger or taller, but he is much more coordinated than ever before thanks to Gym class once a week in which he loves seeing his teacher, following the big kids around to do what they do, and singing parachute songs. As of this moment, he hasn't reached his terrible twos yet, although it can start as early as 16 months I hear.
He enjoys doing things for himself such as giving the dogs their daily treats, flushing the toilet, eating with a fork, drinking from a regular cup and jumping into our neighbor's pool on a hot day. We've started potty training (notice our Elmo red underwear)... and although progress is slow, we enjoy watching him sing and sway along to "tic tock tic tock I'm a little cookoo clock" while on the toilet.
The last few pictures are from our day at the zoo in which he was not interested in petting the goats, but wanted to climb into the elephant santuary.
