What's happening...

Friday was spent making dumplings and preparing games and English lessons for the Japanese students. Dumplings could have been better but the games and the English lesson went great. Mike taught a lesson on the various components of poetry in English. It was very enlightening for everyone. Everyone had a great time. During the night, we invited 3 of the students to join us on a tour off downtown Tokyo the next day.

Our first time touring Tokyo was very nice but very tiring. The 3 students that joined us all grew up in other areas of Japan, so everyone in the whole group visited some of the famous tourist spots for the first time. It was a good time of getting to know them better and enjoying 1000 yen sashimi lunches at the famous Tokyo fish market.

Tomorrow we are off to visit Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Miyajima. Please pray for us as we are going alone without the the luxuary of Mark translating for us. We hope to see more of the Japanese culture and get a feel for the people's spiritual needs. We be doing some manual labor for the local Navigator staff when we get back and then prepare for our third Friday night event before heading back to the US. Ok, signing off for now.
