My Humble Little Vegetable Garden

By popular demand, I've posted the pictures to my humble little garden. I guess it is hard to read about vegetables growing and not see it visually. I built this 4x6x12" box out of redwood and stained it before setting it on top of my existing grass. It's worked pretty well so far with a total of 24 different boxes of different veggies growing. (notice the white strings I've laid down to make each square disdinguishable.) The big leafy stuff on top picture on the right hand side are my 3 broccoli, The tall plant in the far back is my Sun Gold Cherry tomatoes. I also have 4 other tomato plants going at different stages. In the foreground are Gai Lan at different stages along with the baby bok choy. In the middle are the carrots, lettuce, red onions, bell peppers.

On the bottom picture there are two separate containers that are growing summer squash and a Chinese veggie called Gow Gai. The trellis in the back will soon support the 4 squares of long beans that are going to grow vertically. And in the background is Eli's climbing structure. Not shown are 24 plants of Sugar Snap Peas going up another lattice and a Tomato called the "mortgage lifter" hanging nearby growing upside down.
