It's seems to have been a very fast moving summer and we haven't had much chance to take pictures.... it also doesn't help that we don't know exactly where our brand new camera is. I'm sure Eli misplaced it somewhere, but I think it took us too long to notice that it was gone that it's become useless for us to ask him where he had put it.
This summer for me has been mainly about 3 things... napping as much I can as being pregnant with 2nd baby is definatly harder this time around. Secondly I'm semi busy with helping out on our new church worship center project building team. And finally because of impending baby, I really felt the pressure to figure out the first few steps to homeschooling Eli. It started with me attending a HS conference in Modesto which was a nice jump start. It looks like Eli will be spending the next year learning to read with Phonics, doing basic math, and practicing his drawing and writing skills. Sounds simple huh??? well it's not. But I'm sure God with get both of us through it.
As for baby number 2, we don't know if it's a girl or boy yet, but if you have good names for us, send them our way. We prefer biblical names, and people whose character are worthy of emulating. Not necessarily perfect characters mind you, just people who God was pleased with. Also in preparation for baby number 2, Calvin and I have finally stepped down from our weekly commitment to serve as counselors for our church's junior high group. May God bless them greatly.
Well, wish we can post a picture for you to see... Eli has grown much taller and have less baby fat now... someday we'll find that camera, I just know that we will. :p
