Calvin and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary and my 32nd birthday last Wednesday at Alexander's Steakhouse. If you have been there, then you'll know how much we might have spent on dinner. But besides that it was a very nice night off from caring for Eli as Uncle Isaac and Auntie Grace was gracious to ask us if we wanted to leave him with them. We were supposed to have been gone for 2 hours, long enough for a dinner for two right? Well it took us 3-1/2 hours instead to get back. Well back to dinner, it took us so long because we had the following in small quantities; salmon, shrimp, scallops, caviar, frois gois, king crab, lobster, sea bass, unagi, lamb, kobe steak, some fancy cheese, raspberry souffle, a glass of lovely dessert wine from France and two complimentry champagnes. Very nice dinner indeed... can't wait till our 10th anniversary because we won't be eating like this a for long while. Praise God for great babysitting, for a surprise award from Calvin's work to pay for this dinner, and for 5 years of marriage that has been very good.
