The other day Eli, Kes and I were visiting with our neighbors outside in their driveway. My neighbor Anh was holding Kes and Eli was playing with their kids. All of a sudden I see my dogs running around in our front lawn because Eli had left one of our doors open. So without delay I run back toward to house to corral the dogs. By the time I'd gotten back to our driveway, Eli was running behind me crying very terribly... I thought maybe one of his friends hit him or something, but I needed to get to the dogs first. But he was crying so hard that as I grabbed one dog, I turned to him and asked "what's wrong"? His reply was "don't let them take my little sister!" :p He thought I was abandoning Kes at our neighbors for good. It was so sweet to see how much he really cares about little "mui mui".
This is my life, different in many aspects to most other people's... why, I'm still trying to figure out. But whatever it is that makes me different, I'm glad that my identity is in Jesus Christ. Without Him, my life would be meaningless.
